The Sunnyslope Senior Center, 802 E. Vogel Ave., offers a wealth of fun, informative or entertaining events each month to fill up any senior’s calendar. This month’s activities include:

    • Maricopa County Free Prescription Discount Cards, 10:45 a.m. Thursday, June 11

    • AARP Driver Safety Class, 12:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, June 17. Advanced registration required.

    • Father’s Day Party with musical guests The Blu’s Brothers, 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18. Refreshments, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

    • Independence Day Party, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, with musical guests Mike Chamberlain and The Arizona Trio. Refreshments provided.
