Landry reprises 'Rabbit' role
Now in its 12th season, Valley Youth Theatre’s “A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail” has become a family tradition for Valley families. Cathy Landry, 16, a 10th grader at Xavier College Preparatory, reprises her role as “Rabbit” in this holiday production, on stage Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 23.

In “A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail,” Eeyore is gloomy on Christmas Eve since his “very handsome tail” is missing. Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit and Tigger organize the whole Hundred Acre Wood gang into a search. Will the friends find the tail in time for the Christmas Eve party?

For a third year, Valley Youth Theatre is working with “Operation Noah” to collect new stuffed animals that will eventually find a friend in a local pediatric ward.

Tickets are $18 per person, adults and children 2 and up, and can be ordered through Valley Youth Theatre’s box office at 602-253-8188, ext. 2. For more information about Valley Youth Theatre, visit www.VYT.com.
