    The Arizona Dream Builder Foundation is accepting applications for the 2009 Dream Scholar Award.

 

Applicants must be high school seniors enrolled full-time in an Arizona school, maintain a grade-point average of 2.5 or higher, demonstrate commitment to school and community leadership through the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and provide two letters of support. To apply, students must submit a written application by Sept.15.  Applications are available at www.azdreambuilder.org.

    Dream Scholars will be awarded a $4,000 scholarship—$1,000 each year for up to four years—to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university of their choice. Last year, the Arizona Dream Builder Foundation awarded three scholarships.
