Target Day of Music is free entertainment

The Phoenix Symphony and Target are giving back to the local community with a free, fun-filled musical afternoon on Sunday, March 7 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Symphony Hall, 75 N. 2nd St.

There will be pre-concert lobby entertainers and at 3 p.m., the Phoenix Symphony will perform works from Bernstein and Williams to Joplin. Don’t miss the rousing rendition of Copland’s Rodeo.

Kids’ activities for Target Day of Music include exploring musical instruments in the Instrument Petting Zoo, crafts, and balloon artists. Food will be available for purchase.

Those wishing to attend must call the Phoenix Symphony Box Office at 602-495-1999 to receive a free voucher. On the day of the event, vouchers will be redeemed at Symphony Hall for a general admission ticket.
