Summer activities for children, youth
Summer activities for children, youth

By Teri Carnicelli

The city of Phoenix budget crisis has caused the elimination of all city-funded Summer PAC Programs, forcing many families that relied on those low-cost options to seek alternatives for placing their children in a safe environment during the regular work week, while no supervising adult is at home.
The North Central News has compiled a list of summer youth programs available in the area, many of which require enrollment by April. Note: look for what summer youth programs will be available at city Recreation Centers and local youth clubs in next month’s issue of North Central News.
