Allstate staffers paint mobile homes

Allstate and Rebuilding Together joined forces on Jan. 16 to paint mobile home exteriors in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Allstate Insurance Company employees and agency owners, including several from the regional office at 16th Street and Missouri Avenue, gathered at the Royal Palm Mobile Home Park, 2050 W. Dunlap Ave., to lend a hand senior homeowners in need.

The fourth-annual “Give Back Day” initiative is part of Allstate’s efforts to further Dr. Martin Luther King’s commitment to giving back to the community through service.

“Just like the charge lead by community hero Martin Luther King Jr., Allstate employees and agency owners want local residents to experience the power of community service,” said Jaeho Lee, head of Allstate’s Helping Hands Committee. “Allstate’s Give Back Day reminds people to start the year by giving back and to get involved in volunteer opportunities in their community all year round.”
