Pet of the Month Russian blue is frisky and friendly

One moment Norma was a satisfied housecat and the next she was occupying a kennel at the Arizona Humane Society. Starting over at the age of 1 has been hard on this pretty Russian Blue mix but she is looking forward to another shot at the pampered life.

Norma spends most of her time exploring the house and is constantly searching for adventure. She specializes in hide-and-seek but her owner can always find her on top of the fridge or in an empty box. Animated, feisty and fun, Norma is easily entertained with feather wands, toy mice and crinkle toys but she is just as happy playing with a wad of paper or an extra piece of ribbon. A devoted lap cat, she appreciates close contact and will snuggle on a pillow at night right beside her owner. She enjoys the companionship of other felines and wouldn’t mind having a playful feline roommate in her new home. She hasn’t lived with dogs or children and will need a slow introduction to both.

She is available now at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope Facility located at 9226 N. 13th Ave. Her $50 adoption includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar with an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information, call 602-997-7586, ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A380901 or log on to www.azhumane.org.
