The Sunnyslope Senior Center, 802 E. Vogel Ave., offers a monthly calendar of events to entertain, educate and enliven. This month’s events include:

     Balance Screening, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8. Nate from Active RX will meet with seniors individually to assess their current physical balance. First come, first serve.

     Happy Heart’s Dance, 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, with entertainment by Peggy & The Blue Notes. There will be refreshments, prize drawings and a complimentary photo.

     Trip to the Musical Instrument Museum, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21. Cost is $13, due at sign up. Register at the front desk by Feb. 9.

     Tai Chi Demonstration, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. Jerry Johnston will provide a free demonstration to show all Tai Chi has to offer.

     Lunch at the Phoenix College Culinary Café, 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14. Sign up by Feb. 7.
