| Art walk debuts in Sunnyslope |

A pilot Art Walk along the east side of Central Avenue, between Hatcher Road and Townley Avenue, will be held on April 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. More than 70 artists will be selling original work in the areas of watercolor, acrylic and oil, along with jewelry, glass, woodworking, textiles and more The artists will be exhibiting in the parking areas adjacent to Grinders Coffee and Oasis Personal Training and Group Fitness Studio in the Sunnyslope Village Center, as well as Bombero’s Cafe and Wine Bar and Nielsen Galleries. In addition, live music will be performed throughout the event. Try Me Bicycle (folk music) will perform at Nielsen Galleries, on Central just north of Alice Avenue; Caji & Salomé will be appearing at Bombero’s, on Central just south of Townley Avenue; Pulsate Jazz lays down its smooth sounds at Grinders Coffee, southest corner of Central and Dunlap avenues; and Hacksaw’s Blues kicks it up at Oasis, northeast corner of Central and Townley avenues.
