SVA honors Super Students |
The Sunnyslope Village Alliance’s Seventh Grade Super Student of the Month winners for March were: Teshuna Lewis of Royal Palm Middle School; Alvazro Zaragosa and Brianne Crittendon of Sunnyslope Elementary School, and Jason Ramos and Kevin Horteales of Mountain View Elementary School.
The SVA’s Super Student program for seventh graders began nine years ago in partnership with Arizona Public Service, who generously funds the program. The students are chosen by their teachers for exhibiting positive citizenship and academic achievement.
The students receive a framed certificate for citizenship and academic achievement and a $20 gift certificate to a SVA member restaurant of their choice. SVA has eight restaurant members for students to choose from.
