Men may be “doctorphobic,” but one area of health care they are opening up to is massage. According to studies, 13 percent of adult males reported getting a massage in 2006, compared with just eight percent in 2004—an increase of 5.3 million men.
Whether they seek treatment to deal with an injured muscle or a relaxation session to relieve stress, it seems that more and more men are embracing massage.
