Kiwanis honor local students

Three local students were honored by the Kiwanis Club of Sunnyslope during its “Student of the Month” luncheon, held May 8 on the campus of Sunnyslope High School.

Katherine Rosetti of Royal Palm Middle School was selected as a Student of the Month for her outstanding academic record as well as her great character and integrity. Rosetti, who has a passion for reading and writing her own stories, was described as being always ready to learn. She received a framed certificate, a pen, a bumper sticker and a T-shirt.
