SVA honors Super Students |
The Sunnyslope Village Alliance’s Seventh Grade Super Student of the Month winners for April were: Zendera Hines of Royal Palm Middle School; Jair Maldonado and Arturo Reyes of Mountain View Elementary School; and Sandra Hernandez and Alexey Rosas of Sunnyslope Elementary School.
The SVA’s Super Student program for seventh graders began nine years ago in partnership with Arizona Public Service. The students are chosen by their teachers for exhibiting positive citizenship and academic achievement. During the 2007-08 school year, 40 students were honored at the three schools.
