Enjoy Taize and the music of JS Bach

Cathedral Center for the Arts presents Taizé and the Music of JS Bach at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Trinity Cathedral, 100 W. Roosevelt Ave. Admission is $10 at the door. Pianist Lynne Haeseler, organist Alan De Puy, cellist Dennis Yee and the Sanctorum chanting choir perform the music of Bach and chants from the French monastic community Taizé. Experience sunset through the Cathedral’s stained glass windows.     A chanting workshop will be offered before the concert from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Cathedral for $10. Workshop participants will perform in the concert.
