Tracy Boyd is a high-powered, type-A workaholic whose speed and efficiency give her superhero status—until she ignores a lump in her breast for almost a year. In the trial of her life, Tracy finally confronts her greatest fear: living. Phoenix Theatre’s production of “Unbeatable: Every Moment Counts,” is based on the journals of a real-life breast cancer survivor. ![]() A high-powered workaholic confronts her greatest challenge—breast cancer—in Phoenix Theatre’s production of “Unbeatable,” on stage Aug. 6-24 (submitted photo). On stage Aug. 6-24, “Unbeatable” celebrates hope, laughter and the courage to live every moment. The musical is sly and wickedly funny, keeping a light touch as it tells a triumphant story over one of the personal terrors of our time—breast cancer. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays; 8 p.m. Fridays; 3 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays. Special performances will be held 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17 and Tuesday, Aug. 19; and 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20. Tickets are $41.50 for adults and $36.50 for seniors/students with ID.
