Nearly Naked Theatre opens its tenth season with the triumphant return of Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show,” the theater company’s season six sellout! Put on your laciest lacies and join NNT in a spaceship-turned-mansion-turned-freak-show as that mad scientist from Transsexual, Transylvania once again sets off on his quest to create the perfect sex toy.
Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Sundays alternate between 6 p.m. or 2 p.m., through Sept. 13. A performance also is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. Performances are held in Phoenix Theatre’s Little Theatre, 100 E. McDowell Road, behind the Phoenix Art Museum. NNT also will present five late-night “audience participation” shows; throw confetti, yell out, dress up, wear newspapers and sing along. “Audience Participation” Shows are alternating between Saturdays and Fridays at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 general admission and $18 for students, seniors, military personnel and teachers (ID required).
