Mentors sought for struggling students

Arizona Quest For Kids (AQFK) is a mentoring and enrichment program providing support leading to college graduation to low-income students with high academic potential.

In only one hour a week you can help a student make positive choices about his or her education, personal relationships, and role in the community. Your one-year commitment includes orientation, training and meeting with a student one-on-one for one hour per week. Fingerprinting and background checks are completed at no cost to the volunteer.

Arizona Quest For Kids is located at 1430 E. Missouri Ave., Ste B-205. For more information about becoming a mentor please log on to www.azquestforkids.org or call Myrna Cardenas, Mentor/Volunteer coordinator, at 602-636-1860.
