Bombay Spice expands menu

Bombay Spice Grill & Wine®, 7000 N. 16th St., recently refreshed its menu selections with newly added, redefined Indian fare sure to keep fans of the new neighbored grill and wine concept coming back.

Now on the menu are the following tapas: Lamb Seekh Kebab Skewers, Seared Salmon Filet, Chicken Paratha, Chicken Biryani, Lentil Ceviche Towers, Twin Hummus Plate and a new entrée option of Lettuce Wraps.

“These new items have only been on the menu a short time and are already receiving rave reviews from our guests,” says Executive Chef Sunil Kumar, who created the new recipes.

The Lamb Seeksh Kebab Skewers consist of ground lamb mildly flavored with fresh herbs and Indian spices, and the Chicken Paratha is chapatti bread stuffed with chicken, lentils, potatoes and mild Indian spices. The Chicken Biryani dish is made up of basmati rice with Indian seasonings, chicken, raisins, fresh spinach and vegetables.  The Twin Hummus Plate is traditional chickpea hummus and roasted eggplant hummus served with a grilled chapatti.

All dishes are low in fat with no added sugars, butter or cream—and most are less than 500 calories per serving, prepared using a minimal amount of 100-percent extra virgin olive oil. For more information, visit www.bombayspice.com.
