Center Dance returns with past favorites
Center Dance Ensemble’s opens its 20th season Oct. 16-19 with some of the most popular pieces from its repertoire and “alumni” dancers who will be coming back as guest artists.  
The “Friends and Favorites” program features alternating performances of two of the dance company’s favorites from the CDE repertory—“La Llorona” with D. Daniel Hollingshead as the Ranchero and “Dracula” starring David Starry.

The schedule is as follows:

• “Dracula,” with performances 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16 with guest artists The Movement Source Dance Company, FOOTWORK Dance Project and Glendale College's Physical Graffiti; and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18, with guest artists casebolt and smith, Desert Dance Theatre, and Scottsdale Community College’s Instinct Dancecorps.

    • “La Llorona,” 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 with guest artists casebolt and smith, Desert Dance Theatre, and Scottsdale Community College’s Instinct Dancecorps; and 2 p.m. Oct. 19 with guest artists The Movement Source Dance Company, FOOTWORK Dance Project and Glendale College's Physical Graffiti.

All performances are at the Herberger Theater Center, Stage West, 222 E. Monroe St. Ticket prices for the first three shows (including the box fees) are $24 for adults, $20 for seniors and $12 for students.
