Entrees to go make dinner plans easy |
In a time when everyone is looking for ways to cut expenses and save time, a new phenomenon is making its mark in the food service industry. Establishments are springing up in cities everywhere that offer restaurant-quality food to take home.
New places like D’Licious Dishes at 5345 N. 7th Ave. are meeting the culinary needs of Valley singles and families alike. Chef Tudie Frank-Johnson has taken her years of experience at restaurants such as Sam’s Café and is providing high quality dinners to folks who enjoy great food, but don’t have the time to cook or eat out every night. “Not only is this concept a time-saver,” says Tudie, “but it’s economical as well. Everyone gets to eat what they like, so there’s no wasted food. We don’t have to employ a large staff like a restaurant, and we can pass that savings on to the consumer.”
D’Licious Dishes offers sandwiches, entrees, salads, cheeses, side dishes and desserts, as well as custom gift baskets and party trays. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. You can call your favorite order in at 602-274-3663 and have it ready to pick up, or come in and see what appeals to you.
