Urban Cookies (www.urbancookies.com), a Phoenix-based, gourmet organic cookie company located at 4711 N. 7th St., launched a new cookie delivery service on Sept. 12.

The company will deliver fresh-baked organic cookies (by the dozen) and milk to downtown-area residents, satisfying late-night cravings, Thursday through Saturday nights from 7 to 11 p.m. In addition, during the daytime, delivery will be offered to businesses and residents throughout the entire Greater Phoenix area for parties and meetings. Daytime delivery times are Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m.

Customers can order by calling 602-265-3444. Delivery arrival time is 45-75 minutes or customers can pick up their orders from 7 to 10 p.m. each night at Urban Cookies’ retail store.

For those who wish to pick up their cookies, or for after-dinner dessert seekers or even bloggers who have had a heyday with Urban Cookies’ limited retail hours, the company is extending its store hours opening an outdoor patio Thursday through Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. Patio customers will enjoy fresh-baked cookies, milk, coffee and tea beginning Oct. 2.
