Lon’s welcomes 2 cowboy artists
Keeping with the spirit of Lon Megargee and in partnership with the Cowboy Artists of America, Western artists Dave Powell and Harley Brown will be the featured guests for an intimate Artist in Residence dinner at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15 at Lon’s, located at The Hermosa Inn.

The evening will feature a pre-dinner wine reception at which guests will have the exclusive opportunity to mingle with Powell and Brown. Participants will enjoy a four-course dinner designed especially for the occasion by Lon's executive chef, Michael Rusconi, showcasing his artful American culinary style.

The menu will include roasted butternut squash soup, wood-grilled tenderloin of beef and gulf prawns, and chestnut bread pudding with cranberry ice cream.

After dinner, Powell and Brown will share stories about their lives, Western travels and cowboy artwork.

The cost for the Artist in Residence dinner is $125 per person, including tax and gratuity and a four-course dinner paired with wines. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Lon’s at 602-955-7878.

Lon’s at The Hermosa Inn is located at 5532 N. Palo Cristi Road. For more information, visit www.lons.com.
