The Valley’s freshest Subway restaurant, now owned by husband-and-wife team Shane and Sheri Sender, has re-opened with a healthy new look. The newly remodeled store is located at 4102 N. 24th St.; hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily. It is one of 12 Valley Subway stores owned by the couple, which boasts a combined 34 years of experience with the Subway brand.
“Subway is a great family business, and a great way to meet new people,” said Sender. “Sheri and I visit our stores regularly and this gives us the opportunity to get to know all the fine people in our communities.” Subway Restaurants is the world’s largest submarine sandwich franchise, with more than 29,787 locations in 87 countries. Subway Restaurants has been named the top franchise opportunity by Entrepreneur Magazine for an unprecedented 16th time in 21 years. Headquartered in Milford, Conn., Subway Restaurants was co-founded by Fred DeLuca and Dr. Peter Buck in 1965. That partnership marked the beginning of a remarkable journey-one that made it possible for thousands of individuals to build and succeed in their own business.
