Flu shots offered to public by CIGNA
With the approach of the flu season, CIGNA HealthCare of Arizona is encouraging Valley residents to take precautions against developing influenza, more commonly known as the flu. While there is no guaranteed method to prevent the flu, getting an annual flu shot and taking some simple precautions can reduce the risks. Cigna Medical Group is offering flu shots that will be administered to the public for $28. No appointment is necessary. CIGNA members are asked to bring their current CIGNA insurance card. Co-pays may be required by some CIGNA plans.
Upcoming flu shot clinics include:
• 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Oct. 22, and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 6, at the Cigna Medical Group Clyde Wright Health Care Center, 755 E. McDowell Road, 602-271-5111.
• 7:30-11:30 a.m. Oct. 18, and 8-11:30 a.m. Nov. 1, at the Cigna Medical Group Pointe Health Care Center, 7600 N. 15th St., Ste. 185, 602-678-3000.
