Since joining GCU four years ago as dean of nursing, Roberts, a North Central resident, has led an evolution of GCU’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences, overseeing a new vision and mission for the College and expanding enrollment through innovative programs and partnerships. In her new role she will seek new market opportunities for the University, expand GCU’s pre-licensure nursing program and work in tandem with a national advisory board on identifying new opportunities to enhance the University's reputation in healthcare education.

Prior to joining GCU, Roberts served as vice president of the Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association and as the executive director of the State Board of Nursing. She was also a loaned executive to the Arizona Board of Regents, working to develop recommendations on healthcare workforce development.
