And the band marches on .... |
|
The North High Marching Band was front and center at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Oct. 12 in downtown Phoenix. This annual event raises support and awareness for survivors, sufferers, and families affected by Breast Cancer. The North High Mustang Marching Band performed at the beginning of the event, and performed for more than four hours at the race’s finish line.

“This event was very emotional for the band and the crowd was ecstatic to hear us play,” said Matthew Bock, director of Bands at North High. “This event was a shining example that the students here at North are learning how to be productive, thoughtful citizens.” |
