Is your child ready for kindergarten? Arizona Literacy & Learning Center will provide free developmental/literacy screenings Monday, Feb. 23, for children between the ages of 3 and 5 at the center, 14001 N. 7th St., Suite F-112.
    Children will be screened in: hearing, vision, speech (articulation), gross/fine motor skills, pre-literacy skills, and social/self-help development.
    Appointments will be scheduled and be limited to the first 20 children. The remaining children will be placed on a waiting list for future screenings. Screenings may take up to 90 minutes to complete. Screening results will be mailed out within two to three weeks.
