AAA Arizona has named the top repair shops in its automotive network. Now in its 13th year, 32 Arizona repair facilities earned the AAA Top Shop award for 2014, including Kelly Clark Automotive Specialists at 1201 E. Glendale Ave., which received the award for the eleventh consecutive year.
“AAA developed its network of AAA Approved Auto Repair (AAR) facilities to serve as a resource for all motorists,” said John Walter, director of automotive services for AAA Arizona. “Top Shops consistently exceed our members’ expectations and our strict standards. These shops represent the best of the best.”
Facilities must belong to AAA’s AAR network to be eligible for the award. All AAR facilities must adhere to more than 20 AAA standards. In addition, Top Shops must also maintain a 90-percent customer approval rating. They must be actively involved in the community and uphold an exemplary business reputation.
Other Central Phoenix area winners this year included: 25th Street Automotive, 4112 N. 25th St., for the eighth consecutive year; and Hi-Tech Car Care, 2924 E. Thomas Road, for the twelfth consecutive year.
