Learn about the beautiful, exotic orchid at the Desert Valley Orchid Society’s annual Spring Orchid Show and Workshop April 1-2 at Berridge Nurseries, 4647 E. Camelback Road.
There will be American Orchid Society judging on Saturday, many displays and a large selection of flowering orchids for sale. Raffle tickets to win one of several blooming plants will be sold.
Admission is free. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Workshops are set for 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. Society members will be on hand to answer questions.
