There is construction work going on in north Phoenix that many children around the Valley will flip over—literally. The Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics & Dance Center will soon be moving 1 mile north from its current location at 3110 E. Thunderbird Road to an approximately 34,000-square-foot, newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility.

This long-running gymnastics and dance center, celebrating 26 years in business and co-owned by Julie and Dan Witenstein, will not only feature brand new pieces of gymnastics equipment, there will also be three, larger dance studios included.

Weekly yoga classes and popular “Ninja Zone” classes for boys and girls will continue, plus, all-new classes in acrobatic gymnastics, aerial arts, and a trampoline and tumbling program will be introduced. Many different classes are available for babies, children, and adults. There is an award-winning, competitive gymnastics and dance program available as well.

The new facility also will feature an increased viewing area for parents, a preschool program, a snack bar, gift shop, and much larger parking area.

The new center is scheduled to open in late August and will be located at 15801 N. 32nd St. For more information, call the Arizona Sunrays at 602-992-5790 or visit www.arizonasunrays.com.
