“Starry Gets Lost” is the sequel to Starry’s Haircut written by North Central Phoenix author Phoebe Fox. Fox will present a story time reading and book signing of “Starry Gets Lost” 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at The Teapot, 818 N. 5th Ave.

Life is good for Starry the Sheep, who lives in her schoolyard pen under the apple tree. But when the children and teachers leave for a field trip, Starry is left behind. Not understanding that her friends will return, the little sheep sets off to find them. New sights, sounds and smells surround and overwhelm her. When Starry discovers she’s lost, she must muster the courage to find her way back home.

Young children will relate to Starry as she experiences feelings of loneliness, fear, determination, and in the end, accomplishment and joy.
