Grandparents and other relatives are raising more than 100,000 children around Arizona. Now a local nonprofit organization has more resources to help them.
Duet: Partners in Health & Aging recently received a $15,000 grant from Thunderbirds Charities to assist with Duet’s Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program. The program offers support groups, workshops, family activities, respite care and information and referral to grandparents raising grandchildren.
