If you are looking for a dog that can keep you going in one direction, meet 2-year-old Liam.

He is an active American Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever Mix. Liam is a 56-pound, super smart dude who loves to play. This cute pup will need to go to a home with children who are at least 8 years old. Liam would do best if he is the only dog in his new home.

An Arizona Humane Society cruelty investigator rescued him in August of last year after he was discovered underweight without having had any medical treatment. Liam is an example of the thousands of sick, injured and abused pets that the Arizona Humane Society rescues and rehabilitates every year.

While all Arizona Humane Society adoption locations are temporarily closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the organization’s Adoption Matchmaker Program is available to place pets including Liam with “furever” homes. If you want to learn more about him, his animal number is 617114. It is possible he might have been adopted by the time you are able to meet with the Virtual Adoption Matchmaker, but the Arizona Humane Society has dozens of other wonderful pets who also need loving homes.
