Local First Arizona will bring its annual Arizona Fall Festival back to Margaret T. Hance Park, 67 W. Culver St., on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
First held 18 years ago with just 27 vendors at the Duck and Decanter parking lot, the festival was a way to bring local businesses and Arizonans together to build pride in local community and support the local economy. Now, it has grown to host over 200 vendors and is the biggest community event at Margaret T. Hance Park.
The free, family-friendly and dog-friendly event brings people and local businesses together from all over the Valley to showcase all things uniquely Arizona. Activities during the day will include the official “Kid Zone,” sponsored by Risas Dental and Braces, and featuring crafts, games, and activities for kids of all ages and families, and the AZ Beverage Garden (21 and over only), featuring dozens of locally made beers, wines and spirits. Each beverage sample requires two tasting tickets, which are $1 each.
Also during the event, live music from a variety of acts, an Arizona culinary adventure with over 40 restaurants and food trucks, the opportunity to meet the makers, creators and dreamers behind favorite local businesses and a chance to bid on exclusive local experiences and gifts in the Fall Fest Silent Auction.
