The House of Broadcasting, Inc. (HOBI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public and preserving and celebrating the history, personalities and paraphernalia of radio and television in Arizona, will host its 12th Annual Holiday Concert Friday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m.
Featuring Mike Chamberlin and the “Living Legends of Broadcasting,” the concert will be held at the North Phoenix Baptist Church, Chapel Sanctuary, 5757 N. Central Ave. The event will include Pat McMahon, Rita Davenport, Jan D’Atri, Alice Tatum, Buddy Owens, Dr. Joyce Blair Buekers, Cory McCloskey, David Miller, Dave Munsey, Michael Dixon and Patricia Valencia.
Along with the concert, a raffle will be held as a part of the nonprofit’s fundraising efforts. HOBI awards scholarships annually to students at ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, ASU’s Hugh Downs School of Human Communication and the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.
