Soleil is the first residential townhome development from architect developers John Labahn of Lab Design Collaborative and Chicago-based architect, Erik Johnson. Labahn, who designed the Ocotillo restaurant just up the street, says he has a special passion for the 3rd Street corridor. He was a champion of the 3rd Street Improvement Project in 2021-22, working closely with the city of Phoenix to beautify the area with 150 trees, shade structures, crosswalks and bike lanes.
The townhomes offer energy efficiency and a clean modern design. The interiors are light and bright with “brise-soleil” – an architectural feature that deflects sunlight and reduces heat within the home.
