The Square PHX (formerly Heritage Square) will play host to the 2026 Arizona Wine Festival, scheduled for Jan. 24-25 and featuring 20 Arizona wineries, 70 artist, craft and artisan vendors, food trucks and live entertainment.
Along with attendance by some of Arizona’s best wineries, the event introduces new activities, including Barrel Tastings. The Laft Pavilion will be transformed into the Barrel Room where attendees can do barrel tastings with six different wineries. Talk to the winemakers about how the wine was made, learn about the barrel aging process and taste the difference of barrel wine versus the finished wine in a bottle. In addition, a grape stomp competition will pair teams of two will compete to see who can stomp the most juice out of grapes. Prizes and fun are guaranteed, organizers said.
The event takes place Saturday, Jan. 24, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. ($35 per person pre-sale/$45 at the gate); and Sunday, Jan. 25, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ($30 per person pre-sale/$40 at the gate. Each ticket includes a commemorative wine glass and 10 tasting tickets. Beer Tasting tickets are also available for $20, pre-sale, and $25 at the gate, and include a beer tasting glass and 10 tasting tickets.
