A transformative work environment for mobile professionals, “mod” opened last month on the southwest corner of Thomas Road and Central Avenue.

Workspace, meeting space, café and wine bar, mod is solution to the abundance of vacant property left by the 2008 real estate market collapse and the rising number of displaced professionals seeking asylum in local coffee shops.

Offering a simple membership program and pay-as-you-go structure, mod provides “modsters” with access to a secure wireless network, printing and copying, an experienced tech support team and mod-cierge services, all at $7/hour or flexible monthly memberships. Parking is available on the second floor of the parking garage on Thomas Road and 1st Avenue. The first hour of parking is complimentary to modsters, with a charge of $1 for each additional 30 minutes ($8 maximum per day). There are also rentable private and semi-private meeting rooms.
