The Arizona Biltmore Resort has served Afternoon Tea since opening in 1929, but last year was the first time the historic resort at 2400 E. Missouri Ave. offered a Summer Tea service with iced tea selections. It was so warmly received that Summer Tea has returned for a second year.
The service combines a beautiful presentation of five sandwiches, four desserts, a scone and tea cake with your choice of six hot or iced teas in an array of innovative and exotic flavors. They include Ceylon gold, white ginger pear, blackberry pomegranate, raspberry nectar, lavender citrus, and green mango peach.
Gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan menu options are available with advance notice. Seatings are from 12 to 4 p.m., Thursday-Sunday.
The cost is $39, or $49 with the addition of Kir Royale or a Mimosa. An 18 percent gratuity is added. For dining reservations, call 602-381-7632.
