Jaime Molera has been named the new Public Affairs chair for the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Molera will spearhead the chamber’s efforts to bring a results-oriented approach to public affairs and ensure that the voice of business is heard with elected officials.

“[Jaime] brings a wealth of political experience which has helped him earn a national reputation as a trusted, results-oriented leader and a major force for civic and social progress,” said Todd Sanders, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. “In addition to his extensive knowledge of the Legislative process, Jaime’s achievements in education, government affairs and business, as well as his and strong connections with members and staff, make him a valuable addition to the chamber.”

Molera has held a variety of high-level state positions including president of the Arizona State Board of Education under Gov. Jan Brewer (2011-2013), senior consultant and spokesperson during U.S. Senator Jon Kyl’s successful 2006 re-election campaign, superintendent of Public Instruction (2001-2003), and leading advisor on Policy and Legislative Affairs to Gov. Jane Dee Hull (1997-2001).

Molera is a founding partner of Molera Alvarez, a government relations and public affairs firm in Phoenix.
