The Desert Botanical Garden’s popular Spring Butterfly Exhibit in the Marshall Butterfly Pavilion returns for its 12th year during the months of April and May.

Visitors can expect to see hundreds of butterflies housed in a 36-by-80-foot enclosed garden that recreates a habitat most appealing to these fragile fliers. Friendly Garden volunteers, or “flight crews,” will be on hand to answer questions and share information about the butterflies and plants.

The Spring Butterfly Exhibit is open through May 10. Hours are 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. daily at the garden, 1201 N. Galvin Parkway. Admission to the Marshall Butterfly Pavilion is $3.50 per person, with paid garden admission for non-members 3 years and older. Children 2 and younger and garden members may view the exhibit for free. Call 480-941-1225 or visit www.dbg.org.
