The Desert Botanical Garden is seeking plant and people loving volunteers to be Docents on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Desert Botanical Garden Docents lead tours, staff Discovery Stations and interact with garden visitors. No previous experience needed as the garden provides all training that is required for the job. All that is necessary is your enthusiasm and love of the desert.

Docents are needed specifically for Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Training is 9 a.m. weekly on Saturdays through January 2016. To learn more about becoming a docent, contact Nancy White, program director, Volunteer Services, at 480-481-8197 or nwhite@dbg.org. Visit www.dbg.org/volunteer to complete the volunteer application.
