Let the “Wild Rumpus” begin! Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave., will host this nationally acclaimed exhibit featuring select works by iconic American illustrator and author Maurice Sendak, June 3-17.

This free exhibit, originally created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sendak’s classic children’s book “Where the Wild Things Are,” also includes additional renowned Sendak works in a variety of media. Revisit treasured characters and be a part of introducing a new generation to a classic.

Family friendly programs will be offered at all 17 Phoenix Public Library locations, including Storytimes, Movie Screenings and more.
