This Valentine’s Day, celebrate with your loved one with a Southern-inspired feast from Okra Cookhouse & Cocktails, 5813 N. 7th St.. Chef Cullen Campbell is cooking up a Valentine’s Day shared menu for $65 per couple, not including tax and tip. Okra’s menu will be available on Tuesday, Feb. 14, during regular business hours of 4-10 p.m.

Start with a shared appetizer of fried oysters with celery root purée, charred kohlrabi and house-made hot sauce; or roasted beets with whipped buttermilk, walnut butter, orange, and mache greens; or a biscuit with smoke duck confit, pear butter and green peppercorn gravy.

Entrées include your choice of lamb shank with dandelion greens, hominy, natural jus and citrus breadcrumbs; wood-fired roasted half-Cornish hen, cornbread and green tomato panzanella salad, and whole grain mustard vinaigrette; or rainbow trout with braised leeks, celery, dates and crispy potato strings.

Wrap up the meal with a shared dessert of apple bread pudding with buttermilk ice cream and rosemary caramel, or a chocolate tart with orange whip.
