Barry’s True Value celebrates the grand re-opening of its newly remodeled and expanded hardware store at 7820 N. 12th St.—next door to its old location. The community is invited to join in the grand re-opening festivities Nov. 2-4, including a “green bag” sale where customers receive a free reusable bag plus 20-percent off all regular priced items that you can fit inside the bag. In addition, the first 60 customers each day get a free 5-gallon True Value Bucket.

During the event customers who bring in three canned food items will receive a $5 coupon for their next visit. All donated cans will go to a local food pantry.

Barry’s also will have great deals on paint including buy one gallon, get one gallon free specials, and customers can register to win great prizes like a Weber gas grill, pressure washer or a 22-inch self-propelled lawn mower. There will be special demos from your favorite brands like Milwaukee Tools, Trager and Weber and other prize giveaways throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, the Foster Hope Foundation will sell hotdogs and drinks for $1.50 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Barry’s True Value first opened six years ago. Barry McKay, owner, said he’s excited about the expansion and relocation and feels they now have the right products and expert advice their customers need to complete a wide range of projects. “This grand re-opening event is a way for us to thank our customers for their business and to let the community know they can count on True Value,” he says.
