This young and friendly female pit-bull is looking for an active family to give her a forever home with lots of love and playtime (submitted photo).

When you think of a survivor, the beautiful and cute face of Jani should immediately pop into mind. This lovely 8-month-old pit-bull terrier was surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society after she became ill and her pervious owner could not afford her medical treatment. After an examination in AHS’ trauma hospital and a series of tests, it was determined Jani had the deadly parvovirus.

Luckily for this sweetheart, her will and determination, coupled with round-the-clock care in AHS’ Parvo Puppy ICU, allowed her to overcome the disease. Now back to her healthy self, Jani wants nothing more than to find her forever home with a family that loves going on walks, taking her on hikes and playing with her as much as her heart desires.

Meet Jani by visiting her at the Arizona Humane Society’s Sunnyslope Campus, located at 9226 N. 13th Ave. Her adoption fee is $450 and includes her spay surgery, microchip and vaccinations. For more information, call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal number A581327.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter, however AHS has dozens more wonderful pets who also need loving homes. To see all adoptable animals right now, visit www.azhumane.org/findapet.
