Want to keep your child or teen busy this summer exploring sports, art, robotics and other activities, as well as taking field trips?

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley is offering its Learn, Engage, Achieve and Progress (LEAP) summer programs for youths ages 5 to 18 at several of its locations including the Harry & Sandy Rosenzweig Branch at 2242 W. Missouri Ave. from June 1 to Aug. 6. Activities will focus on academic success, good character and leadership, as well as healthy lifestyles and career pathways and work readiness. Meals and snacks will be included.

The weekly summer program fees range from $60 to $100 per week for youths ages 5 to 12 depending on the club location. Financial assistance is available. The cost is $60 per week at the Harry & Sandy Rosenzweig Branch for youths ages 5 to 12. There is an annual membership fee of $30, which is waived for youths who already are members. Those ages 13 to 18 can attend the summer program for free if they also have paid the annual membership fee of $30. The LEAP program is offered from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays while there is an afternoon session from 1 to 6 p.m.
