High school seniors who are planning to start college in the fall of 2021 can get help learning how to apply for financial aid through an online program.

College Depot at the Phoenix Public Library provides free college and financial aid planning workshops and individual phone appointments to assist students and their families in seeking financial help for their college education. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) applications site will open on Oct. 1 for the 2021-22 school year. High school seniors who intend to go to college beginning in the fall of next year must complete and turn in an application. There is no official close date for FAFSA but it must be finished as part of the overall college application.

You must register for the online sessions. For session dates and times, visit phoenixpubliclibrary.org and click on “Online Programs.” To schedule a phone appointment with a College Depot employee call 602-261-8847.
