If autumn “leaves” a smile on your face, you might want to check out the

Harvest Festival at Enchanted Island Amusement Park this month.

The seasonal festivities, including pumpkin golf, a pumpkin fish pond game and pumpkin bowling, will roll into the park at 1202 W. Encanto Blvd. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, and Sunday, Nov. 21. Visitors can take a historic hayride through the Encanto Park neighborhood, ride ponies, participate in a cake-walk, visit with animals in a petting zoo, play a game of oversized tic-tac-toe and engage in many other activities. A dragon obstacle course and slide will add to the seasonal activities.

The cost is $12, plus tax, for unlimited access to the festival for adults and children. The cost is $6 plus tax for anyone ages 55 and older. Guests also can pay $25 plus tax to enjoy unlimited access to the festival and amusement park rides. You can obtain a discount of $1 off the admission price per can of food that you donate, up to five cans, with a maximum price reduction of $5 per person. The canned food will go to St. Mary’s Food Bank.
