As the opening of Hospice of the Valley’s Dementia Care and Education Campus draws closer, the nonprofit agency is looking for compassionate volunteers to support families living with dementia.

Volunteers are needed to assist in patient care and activities engagement, the creative arts and other special skills such as hair stylists, nail artists and yoga instructors.

Located at 44th Street and Indianola Avenue in Phoenix, the Dementia Care and Education Campus will provide support for people living with all types of dementia, from early to advanced stages. Integrative therapies such as music, art and pet visits are used to engage the senses, spark joy and enrich daily life for both patients and families.
